Michael D. Attar, is a senior associate at Beaumont Tashjian, where he primarily handles the Firm’s litigation and enforcement matters. He also provides general counsel services for the Firm's diverse community association clientele on a wide array of subjects, including risk management, dispute resolution, fair housing compliance, and all other issues impacting community associations. Mr. Attar has more than 20 years of handling civil litigation in state and federal court with an emphasis on complex business litigation, real estate, construction defect, general counseling, personal injury, insurance disputes, and professional liability. Mr. Attar has over 10 years of experience representing common interest developments. Mr. Attar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University of Northridge. Mr. Attar earned his Juris Doctorate from Whittier College School of Law and was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Remedies and Dean’s Honor List. He was admitted to the State Bar of California and the United States District Court for the Central and Southern District of California in 1999. In addition, Mr. Attar has also served as a professor of law in Evidence. He is a founding member of the CSUN Attorney Networking Group and a Preeminent “AV” rated attorney with Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Attar is a proud member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and has been an invited guest speaker at state and local CACM and CAI chapters throughout SoCal.
