Jeffrey A. Beaumont, Esq., Shareholder with Beaumont Tashjian, has focused his 27-year legal career on representing common interest developments. His extensive experience and devotion to the community association industry have set Mr. Beaumont apart as a distinguished attorney.
Mr. Beaumont has successfully defended hundreds of community associations and their volunteer board members from multi-million dollar claims by securing defense verdicts from juries and obtaining settlements favorable to the firm’s clients. His extensive experience in litigation and insurance coverage allows Mr. Beaumont to guide the firm’s clients during the most challenging times.
In addition to his litigation successes, Mr. Beaumont has extensive experience in providing the firm’s clients and their boards of directors and managers with practical and concise advice on all issues impacting community associations, such as enforcement of governing documents, dispute resolution, contract negotiation, governance, interpretation and amending of governing documents, and risk assessment and avoidance.
Mr. Beaumont is an active member of the California Association of Community Managers (CACM) and the Community Associations Institute (CAI). He currently serves on the faculty for CACM and CAI National and is a past Executive Committee Legislative Chair for the California Legislative Action Committee for CAI, and inducted in 2019 as a lifetime delegate. Mr. Beaumont proudly served as a two-time past president of the CAI-Greater Los Angeles (CAI-GLAC) and Channel Islands Chapter (CAI-CIC), and is admitted to the College of Community Association Lawyers, earning the distinguished CCAL designation, a designation only provided to less than 200 attorneys in the Nation.
